1. Service scope
Đọc Sớ helps users find Vietnamese ritual prayers, prepare prayer texts, listen to readings, save prayers and set lunar calendar reminders, subject to the released version. Content serves personal and family cultural and spiritual practices. No spiritual, financial, health or ritual outcome is guaranteed. Please check the text, names, dates and relevant customs before use.
2. Provider details and acceptance
Support email: [email protected]. The publisher’s legal identity must be published before these terms take effect. Users may read, save and revisit the terms before accepting them. Accepting these terms does not replace separate consent to personal data processing where required by law. Minors must use the service in an age-appropriate way, with a legal representative where required.
3. Voice use is limited to preparing and reading prayers
Available reading voices, text submitted for speech synthesis and generated audio may only be used to create, read or play prayers requested by the user. If a released version supports voice input, recordings and transcripts may only be processed to enter details or prepare the requested prayer. These data must not be used for advertising, data trading, behavioural profiling, biometric identification, AI model training or other purposes. Any legally required disclosure or retention is limited to the mandatory scope and disclosed when legally permitted.
4. Rights in voices and content
Only properly licensed reading voices may be used. Do not upload another person’s voice without the necessary rights and consent, clone voices, impersonate others or falsely imply that someone spoke or endorsed content. Text-to-speech does not itself authorise recording or voice cloning. Users retain lawful rights in their content; permission granted to Đọc Sớ is limited to delivering the requested function and does not include exploitation for other purposes.
5. Privacy and your choices
Đọc Sớ may process only the data necessary for disclosed purposes. If recording is supported, the app must explain the data, purpose, processors and controls before collection; recording may start only after a user action and the necessary permission, without unrelated background recording. You may decline voice features, revoke microphone permission and request withdrawal of consent as provided by law. Declining must not block functions that do not require those data. See the Privacy Policy for data rights.
6. Lawful and respectful use
Do not use Đọc Sớ for fraud, threats, harassment, infringement of privacy, reputation, intellectual property or others’ rights. Do not use prayer text or audio to impersonate anyone, solicit fraudulent transactions or distribute unlawful content. Unauthorised access, damage and disruption are prohibited. Provide family members’ information only with an appropriate lawful basis and authority.
7. Reference content and lunar reminders
Customs vary between families, regions and religious communities. Consult a knowledgeable person when needed. Synthesised speech may mispronounce words; reminders can be affected by time zones, leap lunar months, notification permissions and phone settings. Check the lunar and solar dates, reminder time and prayer text. These limitations do not exclude the provider’s statutory responsibility for service faults.
8. Payments, subscriptions and refunds
If paid features or subscriptions are offered, Đọc Sớ must clearly show the price, included service, term, renewal conditions, cancellation method and refund policy before confirmation. No charge may be made for an unagreed service. App Store and Google Play transactions follow the store’s process and applicable law, without limiting statutory refund or other rights. The release’s pricing and advertising model remains unconfirmed.
9. Suspension, termination and deletion
You may stop using the service and request account or data deletion through the published procedure. Where there is a substantiated breach or security risk, Đọc Sớ may restrict functions as necessary and explain the reason and review route when legally permitted. Remaining entitlements and data are handled under lawful agreements and applicable obligations. Uninstalling does not automatically delete server data or cancel paid subscriptions.
10. Responsibility and disputes
These terms are governed by Vietnamese law, while preserving other mandatory consumer protections that apply. No term excludes the provider’s statutory liability or a user’s right to complain, seek compensation or bring legal proceedings. Parties may negotiate, mediate or use a competent dispute resolution mechanism under the law; users are not required to waive court access. An unenforceable provision does not remove statutory rights.
11. Updates and language
Material changes must be clearly notified with their effective date and must not unlawfully remove accrued rights retroactively. Users have the right to terminate as required by law when general trading conditions change. Vietnamese and English versions are intended to convey the same terms. Discrepancies or ambiguities must be interpreted according to law and consumer protection principles, without reducing users’ rights.
